A beautiful store that doesn't convert is just expensive branding. We design and build Shopify storefronts where every layout decision, every CTA placement, and every page hierarchy is engineered around revenue โ not awards.
Most projects scoped within 48 hours of your brief.
The Design Trap
Agencies build stores that win portfolio prizes. Freelancers faithfully translate Figma files into Liquid. Both treat design as an aesthetic exercise. Neither starts with the question that actually matters: where are customers dropping, and why?
Hero images with no hierarchy. CTAs competing with each other. Product pages that showcase photography but bury the add-to-cart. Beautiful above the fold, confusing below it.
If 70% of your traffic is mobile but the store was designed on a 27" monitor, you've built for the wrong customer. Mobile-specific UX decisions affect conversion more than brand identity.
Full-bleed video heroes, lazy-loaded lifestyle imagery, and 40+ installed apps create stores that look stunning in Figma and time out on mobile. Speed isn't a dev concern โ it's a revenue concern.
Conversion-First Design Architecture
Before a single section gets built, we establish the conversion architecture โ the decision tree that determines how visitors move from landing to purchase. Design serves the architecture, not the other way around.
Not a visual showpiece โ a funnel. Clear value proposition, trust signals above the fold, product surface area with intent-matched CTAs, and a path to purchase for every customer segment you serve.
Benefit-led copy hierarchy, mobile-optimized gallery, sticky add-to-cart, bundling and upsell architecture, review integration, and trust signals calibrated to your price point.
Filterable, fast, and editorially structured. Collection pages are the highest-leverage SEO and conversion real estate on your store โ we treat them as such.
Cart drawer UX, free shipping thresholds, cross-sell logic, and โ on Shopify Plus โ custom checkout extensions that reduce abandonment and increase order value before payment.
LCP, CLS, and INP benchmarked and optimized on every page we build. Script loading, image formats, lazy loading, and critical CSS โ all engineered for sub-2s load times on mobile.
Every theme we build uses a modular section system โ your marketing team can build landing pages, campaign pages, and seasonal content without touching code or filing a dev request.
What Moves When Design Is Done Right
Across desktop and mobile. We benchmark before and track after every significant change.
The signal that separates product-page interest from conversion-page drop-off.
Bundling, upsells, and cross-sells architected into the product page and cart flow.
Every friction point between add-to-cart and payment confirmation is a solvable design problem.
If mobile converts at half your desktop rate, your store has a design problem โ not an audience problem.
Sub-2s LCP on mobile. Not a nice-to-have โ a prerequisite for competitive organic rankings and paid ad performance.
Design Outcomes
Three-year-old theme that had been patched by different freelancers over time. Homepage had 14 sections competing for attention. Mobile checkout conversion was 1.4%. The brand looked inconsistent across pages.
Redesigned with a clear hierarchy: one hero narrative, benefit-led product sections, a social proof band, and a single clear CTA path. Rebuilt the mobile PDP with a sticky ATC, condensed gallery, and inline review highlights. Removed 6 redundant apps in the process.
Mobile conversion from 1.4% to 2.9%. AOV up 18% after bundling architecture added to PDP. Site speed improved from 54 to 87 on mobile Lighthouse.
Strong paid traffic numbers but only 2.1% of PDP visitors adding to cart. Heatmaps showed users were reading the description and leaving โ never reaching the ATC button, which was buried below a lengthy tabbed ingredient section.
Redesigned the PDP with a sticky ATC on mobile, moved the product benefit summary above the ingredient tabs, added a "results timeline" visual element that converted skeptical buyers, and implemented a subscription/one-time choice with clear pricing hierarchy.
ATC rate improved from 2.1% to 4.8% on the same traffic. Subscription attachment rate up from 12% to 31%.
Collection pages were generic grids with no editorial content, no filtering logic, and no internal link strategy. Organic traffic to collection pages was negligible. Paid traffic landing on collections bounced at 71%.
Rebuilt collection page template with: editorial header with SEO content, smart filter sidebar (by fit, fabric, occasion), "style it with" cross-sell modules at page bottom, and internal links to related collections. Built a modular system so the team could replicate across 40+ collections.
Collection page bounce rate dropped from 71% to 44%. Organic collection traffic up 210% over 4 months.
